Nemesis: The True Story Of Aristotle Onassis, Jackie O And The Love Triangle That Brought Down The Kennedys

Peter Evans

(ReganBooks $39.95)

READERS of Vanity Fair magazine will love this tortuous tale of the rich and infamous. A never-ending carousel of love affairs, dodgy deals and mysterious deaths ends with Peter Evans hypothesising that the assassination of presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy was financed by Greek tycoon Aristotle Onassis. Jackie O does not come out of it at all well and some of Evans's allegations are bizarre in the extreme, but this is simultaneously a tacky and fascinating look at the immoral lives of the obscenely wealthy.
